Green Digital Transformation

Free training and support for businesses and individuals based in Powys - only available for 2024

  • Do you live or work in Powys?
  • Do you work in the agricultural, food or biotech sector, or would you like to?

If you have answered 'yes' to both of these questions, you may be eligible for free training and support from Aberystwyth University

Green Digital skills are increasingly important in the agriculture, food and the emerging biotech sector, where the integration of digital technologies and circular economy principles is essential for achieving long-term environmental and economic goals. They encompass a broad range of competencies, including the ability to use digital tools and technologies to monitor, analyse, and interpret data, control systems, and to communicate and collaborate effectively along and across supply chains. These systems are complex and expensive. Digital transformation goes beyond just using IT tools and requires a comprehensive strategy that aligns technology with the goals of the business. Green Digital Transformation integrates digital technologies with circular economy principles, and focuses on creating value through waste reduction, resource efficiency, and collaboration.
