Apply to be a Student

All applications are made through Aberystwyth University (find out about post application processes here)

. Unless you are applying for a single module, you will need to upload:

A short personal statement
Degree Certificate or details of 2 years relevent work experience
Written References (one for MSc or two for MRes or DAg)

Taught Courses

Whether you are applying for a full MSc or a single module or anything inbetween, you will need to go through the postgraduate admissions process. Please be aware that you we operate a pay-as-you go system and you will be able to take as many or as few modules as you feel able. Make sure that you select 'Taught' and 'Distance Learning' and the correct start date for your first module (see timetable)

Single Modules

In most cases it is best to apply for the MSc Agrifood Innovation, which contains all modules. Since we opperate a pay-as-you-go approach, you will only pay for what you do and can exit at any time with just one or 2 modules or build up to a qualification. If however, you don't want to use this route please email atpstaff@aber.ac.uk and ask for a CPD application link. We are unable to display the link here as it is subject to change.

Qualifications

The links below will take you to the correct area of our internal webpages to apply for a named MSc, PGDip or PGCert, all you need to do is click on the Apply Now Button when you are ready. If you wish to complete a PGCert (60 credits) or PGDip (120 credits) within one of our MScs, you need to apply for the appropriate MSc and then request to exit when you have completed the required number of modules.

Research Masters and Doctorates

Please download the reseach propsal form at the bottom of this page and submit it with your MRes application, if this is something which we feel can be supervised at Aberystwyth, you will be invited for an interview. You are welcome to submit your research proposal by email in advance of your application if you would like us to provide initial feedback. The MRes acts as Part 1 of the Professional Doctorate and students should apply here in the first instance.
