MSc in Sustainable and Efficient Food Production

MSc in Agrifood Innovation 

The focus of this MSc is on facilitating knowledge flow along the agrifood supply chain. The course provides students with a detailed understanding of the challenges facing the agrifood sector and equips them with the technical and communication tools to instigate innovation and lead change. Optional modules will allow students to delve more deeply into specific facets of the supply chain and/or to expand their repertoire of communication skills. All MSc students will develop research skills and put these into practice via a work-based research project.

My name is Javier Castillo, I'm professional support research in Colombian Research Corporation (AGROSAVIA* - Colombia), with experience in research forage and grasses for Colombian high tropics; generating strategies to improve the competitiveness and sustainability of milk production systems.I am currently studying for an MSc in Sustainable Efficient Food Production. The modules are interesting because the platform is manageable, understandable, ordered, methodological and teaching is high level; finally, the web of science is an excellent opportunity to learn. This program has helped me to generate a vision globally, to better perform my job in Agrosavia and personally as a person I have changed. *AGROSAVIA is a decentralized public entity non-profit, and the mission is to contribute to technical change to improve the productivity and competitiveness of the Colombian agricultural sector.
